One of the performers playing for guests during the next English monarch’s coronation is Nigerian diva Tiwa Savage.
The monarchy, as is well known, had hoped that some of the top British acts would perform at the occasion. The invitation to appear has, however, been declined by numerous performers. Ed Sheeran, Adele, Harry Style, Elton John, and the Spice Girls are just a few of the musicians who declined the invitation to perform at the event.
But all is not lost, since additional performers choose to accept the offer and will contribute to the event’s entertainment.
Here is a list of the performers you can see if you plan on attending the event in Westminster Abbey.
The acclaimed Nigerian artist has lived in the UK for a sizable portion of her life.
She has an honorary doctorate from the University of Kent. And most recently, HRH Queen Consort Camila extended an invitation to her to attend the International Women’s Day ceremony at Buckingham Palace.
The singer-songwriter will enchant the crowd with her sultry vocals and charisma while also significantly bringing African variety to the lineup.
