In his coaching career, Frank Lampard, the temporary manager of Chelsea, has stated that he would prefer to hold a permanent managerial role.
Remember how Lampard was temporarily hired by Blues co-owner Todd Boehly following the firing of Graham Potter in April?
After returning to Chelsea temporarily, Lampard has played six games without a victory.
In the six Premier League games he has so far managed, the former player has suffered defeat each time.
Mauricio Pochettino is anticipated to replace Lampard when he leaves Stamford Bridge for a second time this summer.
However, the 44-year-old has since said he is no longer willing to accept temporary employment.

When I came back here I certainly took it on with a lot of heart and understanding that it was short term. But I don’t want to be an interim manager again.

Lampard will be in charge of Chelsea’s seventh game since his comeback against Bournemouth on Saturday (Today).
Chelsea is currently in place 12 in the English Premier League standings.
