Despite escalating costs, the Blues have resolved not to raise season ticket prices for a 12th year in a row. The club claims that it is acutely aware of the cost-of-living problem that supporters are suffering.

The west London club also appreciated the fans’ unwavering support throughout the team’s trying campaign, which saw them struggle to finish in the top half of the Premier League standings despite spending a lot of money on players since the takeover last summer.

Chelsea Supporters’ Trust applauded the choice and expressed gratitude to Todd Boehly’s Clearlake Capital group for accommodating requests on season ticket rates.

The Trust would like to place on record its thanks to Mr Boehly and his board for putting supporters first.

We have campaigned vehemently that prices should be frozen to reflect the impact of the cost-of-living crisis and the Trust is delighted that the club has responded positively to our representations on season ticket prices.

In an effort to capitalise on their victory over Bournemouth, Chelsea will visit Nottingham Forest on Saturday. The Blues have been extensively connected with Mauricio Pochettino in their hunt for a long-term managerial replacement for Graham Potter.
